ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 15. Kazakhstan's Aktobe region intends to attract investment from Vietnam, Trend reports.
Thus, the head of the executive power of the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, Askhat Shakharov, discussed the implementation of investment projects in the aviation industry, including within the framework of the order of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to create a regional multimodal hub based on Aktobe International Airport with representatives of the Vietnamese Sovico Group company.
Askhat Shakharov also put forward an initiative to open a flight between Aktobe and Vietnam.
"Vietnam is one of the most important trade, economic and investment partners of Kazakhstan. Today Aktobe residents often go to Vietnam on vacation. In this regard, it is possible to open a flight between Aktobe and Vietnam," he said.
Sovico Group has extensive experience in implementing various projects in the energy, construction, banking and financial sectors, and aviation. At the end of 2022, the company's revenue amounted to $20.6 billion.
