Uzbekistan will increase the volume of natural gas supply to Kyrgystan's districts, CA-NEWS reported referring to Kyrgyz Osh province's management of gas facilities.
On the basis of an agreement signed with "Uzbektransgaz" in early 2011, the volume of gas supply to customers in Osh province and Kara-Suu district will be increased from 15 November.
Earlier Uzbekistan increased its gas supply from 1,700 thousand cubic meters per hour to 2,300 cubic meters per hour, the director of the agency Taalaibek Maksutov said.
He said that the demand for gas will amount to 4,500 - 5,000 cubic meters in Osh and Kara-Suu during the winter season.
