BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. Total tax arrears amounted to 19 billion soums ($229 million) in Kyrgyzstan by July 1, 2022 (an increase of 31.7 percent compared to the previous month), Trend reports citing the State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The largest tax debtor became the Kyrgyz ‘Lallana Trade’ company with the amount of debt of more than 3 billion soums ($36.5 million). The company is registered in Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan and is engaged in freight transportation.
Bishkek branch of the Russian ‘Interrustrade’ company is in the second place with a debt of 1.5 billion soums ($18.3 million).
Interrustrade LLC and Polaris LLC appeared in most serious criminal cases about businessmen, who, with employees of Kyrgyz Tax and Customs services, were able to withdraw large sum of money from the Kyrgyz government budget.
