Russia's shares data on Krasnoyarsk grain exports to Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, February 6. A total of 900 tons of grain were exported from Russia's Krasnoyarsk Krai to Kyrgyzstan in January 2024, Trend reports.

According to the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), a total of 52,700 tons of grains, processed products, and oilseeds were exported from the Krasnoyarsk Krai in January 2024, which is a 59.7 percent increase compared to January 2023 (33,000 tons).

Specifically, the primary volumes of exports include 27,900 tons of wheat, 12,200 tons of rapeseed, and 4,900 tons of barley.

An amount of 12,200 tons of grains, 6,400 tons of rapeseed, 800 tons of flaxseeds, and 400 tons of peas were exported from Krasnoyarsk to China. Mongolia received 15,300 tons of grains, Kazakhstan received 7,100 tons of grains, and India received 1,000 tons of rapeseed. Additionally, 4,800 tons of rapeseed were exported to Belarus.

According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the country's trade turnover with Russia reached $2.568 billion from January through November 2023 and decreased by 20 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2022 ($3.193 billion).

The country's exports to Russia totaled $676.540 million during the 11 months of 2023, declining by 31 percent compared to the same period in 2022 ($989.798 million). Kyrgyzstan's imports from Russia amounted to $1.892 billion, which is a 14 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2022, when imports from Russia were $2.203 billion.
