BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Tajikistan and Kuwait discussed the prospects of development and strengthening cooperation in the water and energy field, Trend reports via Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, Tajikistan's Ambassador to Kuwait, Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda and Kuwait's Deputy Minister of Electricity and Water, Maha Al-Asousi, to discuss current status and development prospects of Tajik-Kuwaiti cooperation.
According to the ministry, issues of expanding cooperation in the water and energy sectors of Tajikistan and Kuwait were discussed during the meeting, taking into account the Republic of Tajikistan's experience and abundant water resources.
In addition, Kuwait's participation in the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development," which will take place in Dushanbe on June 6, 2022, was also reviewed.
