The EU, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), is implementing a project entitled “Support for Further Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development in Turkmenistan”, Trend reports with reference to the UIET.
As part of this project, a workshop is being held in Ashgabat on international auditing standards of ISO 9001:2015 system.
“The workshop aims to provide further support to the Turkmenistani government in applying international standards in various professional services including the audit and certification of the quality management systems of Turkmen food producers. This, in its turn, will contribute to raising awareness and further developing exports of domestic products,” the report said.
The workshop is conducted by an expert approved by The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA). The high professional level of the IRCA workshop will allow Turkmen businessmen to receive an internationally recognized qualification of an auditor provided that they successfully pass the final exam by April 23, the report says.
