BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. Uzbekistan has exported 71,600 tons of persimmons worth $43.4 million from January through November 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure increased by 9,800 tons, compared to the same period last year.
During the relevant period, Uzbekistan sent the largest volume of persimmons to Russia (40,800 tons), followed by Kazakhstan (23,700 tons), Kyrgyzstan (3,100 tons), Turkmenistan (2,700 tons), Belarus (1,200 tons), Poland (62 tons), and Latvia (20 tons).
The statistics note that 335,000 tons of Uzbek fruits and berries were exported from January through November 2022.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover from January through November 2022 amounted to about $50 billion.
