Non-oil exports of Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province increase

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Non-oil exports from the southeastern Iranian Province of Sistan and Baluchestan increased by 15 percent in value and 28 percent in weight during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through May 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through May 21, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.

Exports of non-oil products from Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province amounted to 702,000 tons worth $256 million during the first two months.

In a nutshell, the province exported a whole bunch of goods during the 2 months, including cement, coal, petroleum products, fruits, tomatoes, dates, and more.

These products were primarily shipped off to Pakistan, China, Kuwait, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and other countries.

Meanwhile, Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to 23.5 million tons worth $8 billion over the 2 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through May 20, 2024). Iran's non-oil exports increased by 3.8 percent in value and 8.5 percent in weight during the 2 months compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through May 21, 2023).
