By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran's South Pars phase 12 has produced 7.8 million barrels of gas condensate since March 2014.

The produced gas condensate is valued at about $1.5 billion, Iran's Shana news agency reported on Jan. 5.

The development of phase 12 is 96.5 percent complete.

Phase 12 is the biggest phase of the gas field with the projected output capacity of 85 million cubic meters per day.

The phase is also projected to produce 120,000 barrels of gas condensates and 750 metric tons of sulfur daily.

South Pars, a non-associated gas field located offshore in the middle of the Gulf, is Iran's largest gas field. South Pars is a portion of a larger gas structure that straddles the territorial water borders of Iran and Qatar. It is called the North field in Qatar.
