With the commissioning of a copper cathode plant in Iran’s Kerman province, the production of copper will increase by 50,000 tons annually, Trend reports with reference to the website of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
The plant’s products are intended for local and foreign markets.
With the commissioning of the plant, 2,200 jobs will be created.
As much as $300 million has been invested in this project.
The plant is located 20 km from Babak city in Kerman province.
