Iranian ex-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cast his votes at the parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections in Tehran, ILNA news agency reported Feb. 26.
Iranians started voting at 8:00 local time (GMT +3:30) today. They are to elect 290 MPs, and 88 members of the Assembly of Experts.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei also voted today and called on Iranians, who love the Islamic Republic, to take part in the voting for the country's honor.
Iran's ex-presidents Hashemi Rafsanjani, Mohammad Khatami, Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani and some grand ayatollahs, including Nuri Hamedani, Makarem Shirazi and Jafar Sobhani have also cast their votes.
