European Commission Vice President to arrive in Georgia

The Vice President of the European Commission responsible for transport Siim Kallas and his cabinet members will pay an official visit to Georgia on Nov.17-18.
As the Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry told Trend, during the visit Mr Kallas will deliver a lecture on 'Use of transport for communication between the EU and its eastern neighbours.' The lecture will be read in English at the National Library.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of the European Commission mission, diplomatic missions, ministries, ports, shipping companies, as well as lecturers and students of the relevant departments of the universities.
Prior to joining the European Commission Mr Kallas was the Estonian prime minister and prior to that, finance and foreign minister and president of the National Bank of Estonia.
