About 10,000 Egyptians took part in a rally Friday in support of ousted president Hosny Mubarak in Cairo's Mohandiseen district, saying they were sorry that he had resigned, DPA reported.
The protesters, mostly male, said they wanted to honour Mubarak, who was in power for nearly 30 years.
Mubarak stepped down on February 11, handing over the reins of government to the armed forces, following 18 days of protests for political reform.
