Syrian authorities discovered camouflaged Israeli spying devices designed to record and transmit data, state media reported Thursday.
The official Syrian news agency SANA posted images of the confiscated devices and said only that they were found in a coastal region, dpa reported.
The devices were designed to blend in with the natural environment and included a camera, antennas, six batteries and an electrical regulator, said SANA.
In January, Israeli warplanes blasted Syrian targets near Damascus. Syria said the target was a military research center, while US officials claimed the Israeli attack struck a convoy carrying Syrian weapons bound for Shiite group Hezbollah in Lebanon.
