A young woman reported that a man, whom she described as an Arab, stabbed her near her home in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in Jerusalem on Wednesday, Trend reports referring to The Jerusalem Post.
The girl claimed that she was waiting at a bus station on her way to school when the assailant stabbed her neck and hand and fled, The Jerusalem Post's sister publication Maariv reported.
Following the alleged stabbing attack, the young woman returned home and called Magen David Adom (MDA).
"We entered the apartment and saw a girl of about 15, agitated and fully conscious," MDA paramedics reported after the incident. "She had several injuries on her upper body and claimed she had been attacked on the street."
She was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The background of the event is unclear and an investigation is underway, the police reported.
