(hollywire.com) - Celebrity pop star and model Mischa Barton was arrested back in December 2007 on none other than a DUI charge. It is reported that she is accepting a plea deal. What normally happens in these cases is she will be expected to serve probation for three years, unsupervised. Then in addition she will receive a sentence, which includes a three-month alcohol abuse education class, and the charge of marijuana possession against the star will be dropped. A charge of driving without a license will be lowered to an infraction.When contacted by People, a spokesperson for the LA District Attorney would not comment on the matter.On Jan. 10, The former O.C. star Barton told Ryan Seacrest's L.A. radio show: "Obviously I'm 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't know what to say about it, except that I'm not perfect, and I just don't ever intend to do something this stupid again." Barton was arrested on December 26, 2007.
