Obama says not willing to set red lines on Iran

U.S. President Obama said on Friday that he was unwilling to impose a "set of conditions" on how he would handle Iran's nuclear issue, the Jerusalem Post reported, Mehr News reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had demanded that the U.S. set out "red lines" for Iran over its nuclear program.

Obama said even Netanyahu himself would not put in place such conditions.

"No leader ties his hands," Obama told 1,200 American rabbis via a conference call.

Again on Sunday Netanyahu renewed his demand for a red line. "You have to place that red line before them now, before it's too late."
