Two teenagers were killed and two injured in the explosion at the centre of Makhachkala on Wednesday when they tried to open a box where presumably, a bomb was hidden, spokesman for Dagestan's Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti over phone.
The interlocutor said that 15-16-year old teenagers were killed in the explosion and two others of the same age were injured and taken to the hospital.
"The explosive device most likely, was on the side of the road in a bag or a box," the source said today. "The teenagers picked it up and then an explosion occurred."
