EU will aid Ukraine in realization of readmission agreement

(ForUm) - Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych charged Ukrainian executives to make proposals on concrete projects, which must be realized to implement provisions of an agreement between Ukraine and the EU on readmission, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk told a Tuesday press conference in Kyiv.

As he reminded, the readmission agreement, initialled during the EU - Ukraine Summit, envisages a two-year postponement of the effect of provisions on receipt-deportation of citizens of third nations and persons without citizenship, Cabinet's press office reported.

In his turn, Head of the European Commission Delegation to Ukraine Ian Boag noted that the EU will allocate much money for realization of the readmission agreement. "The European Commission will attentively listen to Ukrainian partners, what priorities they set and how they decide to spend the money," he said. According to Mr Boag, the discussion of the issue began last week, reports Trend.
