( IHA ) - Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Babacan who met on Friday with Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh in Beirut, wished for a resolution to be set for the political crisis in Lebanon.
We would like to see an end to the current political crisis through dialogue and reconciliation" stated Babacan in a press conference held after meeting Salloukh.
Babacan also met with Siniora to discuss bilateral issues and the latest developments in the region, including the possible cross-border operation by Turkey into northern Iraq against the Kurdistan Workers' Party cells.
