Turkish prime minister's special envoy to Libya Omur Solendil on Wednesday met with Mustafa Abdul Jalil, the chairman of the Libyan National Council, an interim government formed by anti-Gaddafi groups, Anadolu Agency reported .
Solendil, a former ambassador to Tripoli, met with Abdul Jalil in Benghazi, conveying Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's message.
"Our talks have been very positive. Turkish people always stand side by side with the brother and friendly Libyan people," Solendil said.
