Turkey’s independent foreign policy deserves great respect

Turkey's independent foreign policy amid the US and EU sanctions deserves great respect, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, RIA Novosti reported.
"Turkey has taken an independent position amid imposing the unilateral sanctions by the US and EU," President Putin said in an interview with Interfax and Anadolu news agencies.
Ankara's independent foreign policy, meeting the national interests, is worthy of great respect.
This pragmatic approach opens up new horizons for the development of the Russian-Turkish cooperation, especially its business component.
The president said that Turkey is the main foreign trade partner of Russia. The bilateral trade turnover exceeded $31 billion in 2014.
The G20 summit will be held in Antalya, Turkey on November 15-16.
The Group of Twenty (G20) is a leading forum for discussing global economic and financial cooperation.
