Turkey and Iran discussed regional problems, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.
He made the remarks during the joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in Istanbul, Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported March 19.
Turkey and Iran have great potential in settlement of conflicts in the region, according to him.
The minister said that Turkey and Iran will continue their joint efforts to resolve the conflicts in the region.
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is on official visit in Turkey.
