Thirty percent of state share in Turkey’s Aselsan defense industry company will be put up for privatization, Turkish media reported April 4 citing sources in the company.
The cost of the share in the company to be put up for privatization is 210 billion Turkish liras.
In 2014, 15 percent of the state share in the Aselsan company was privatized.
The Aselsan company was established in 1975 on the basis of the Turkish Armed Forces.
The company has been producing defense products since 1979.
