Turkey, after becoming a key player in solving Iraqi and Syrian issues, has become a world leader, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish media reported.
Erdogan noted that currently Turkey also has economic and military power.
The Turkish President once again called for reforms in the UN and named it a necessity.
"The implementation of reforms in the UN Security Council is extremely important," Erdogan said.
According to Erdogan, the number of permanent members in the UN Security Council should be increased to twenty.
