The Fethullah Gulen movement poses a real threat to the Turkic-speaking countries, Turkish Parliament Speaker Binali Yildirim said at a conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TurkPA) in Izmir.
Turkey hopes that the Turkic-speaking countries together will be able to counter this threat, Yildirim noted, Turkish media reported on Nov. 21.
"The Turkic-speaking countries should strengthen relations with each other," he said.
Fethullah Gulen and his supporters are accused of the 2016 military coup attempt in Turkey.
