TOP 5 imported goods of Turkey for July 2019 announced

Turkey imported mineral oils worth $3.4 billion in July 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade told Trend.

“The second place is held by various equipment, mechanisms and nuclear reactors (including their parts) in the amount of $2.2 billion, iron and steel worth $1.3 billion rank third in the list of imported goods," the ministry said.

It was noted that electrical goods come fourth at $1.3 billion.

"Plastic products hold the fifth place in the list of imported goods at $1.1 billion," the ministry said.

In the reporting period, Turkish exports increased by 7.9 percent (when compared to July 2018) and amounted to $15.16 billion. Turkey’s imports in July 2019 decreased by 8.5 percent (compared to July 2018) and amounted to $18.35 billion.

Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $33.51 billion in July 2019.
