From January to September 2019, the export of Turkish textile goods decreased by 6.1 percent compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $5.944 billion, the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly told Trend.
The share of the textile goods has reached 4.9 percent of Turkey’s total export.
"In September 2019, the export of Turkish textile goods decreased by 5.3 percent compared to September 2018 and reached $678.849 million, which is 10.7 percent of the total export," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
From September 2018 to September 2019, the export of the Turkish textile goods increased by 4.9 percent compared to the period from September 2017 to September 2018 and reached $8.071 billion.
In September 2019, Turkey’s foreign trade turnover increased by 0.11 percent compared to September 2018 and reached $32.181 billion.
From January to September 2019, Turkey’s total trade turnover reached $286.419 billion.
