Cargo transshipment volume from Saudi Arabia via Turkish ports in September 2019 revealed

In September 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Saudi Arabia through ports of Turkey amounted to slightly over 4.503 million tons, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The ministry noted that in September 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Saudi Arabia by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 3,042 tons, while the volume of cargo carried by vessels flying flags of other countries amounted to almost 4.501 million tons.
During the reported period, no cargo was transshipped through Turkish ports by ships flying the Saudi flag.
In September 2019, 932,847 tons of cargo were shipped from Saudi Arabia in transit through ports of Turkey.
In September 2019, 260.1 million tons of cargo were transshipped in Turkish ports as a whole.
Over the mentioned period, vessels flying the Turkish flag transshipped 21.0 million tons of cargo, while vessels flying the flag of their country – 12.1 million tons, and the vessels flying the flag of other countries – 226.9 million tons of cargo.
