Export of cars from Turkey to Morocco dropped by 24.58 percent in the past nine months of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, having amounted to $305.7 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In September 2020, Turkey’s car exports to Morocco increased by 24.18 percent compared to the same month of last year, reaching $53.3 million, said the ministry.
According to the ministry, the export of cars made up 15.7 percent of the country’s total export from January through September 2020.
In September this year, Turkey exported the cars worth $2.6 billion to global markets, which is 24 percent less compared to the same month of 2019, thus accounting for 17.5 percent of the country's total exports.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2019 through September 2020), Turkey exported the cars worth over $25.1 billion abroad.
