Volumes of cargo transshipment from Algeria through Turkish ports revealed

Transshipment of goods from Algeria through the ports of Turkey amounted to 4.95 million tons from January through September 2020, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

In the reporting period the volume of cargo transshipment from Algeria by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 252,037 tons, and by ships flying the flags of other countries - 3.2 million tons.

According to the ministry, 1.49 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Algerian flag during the specified period.

During the specified period, the volume of transshipment of goods in transit from Algeria through the ports of Turkey amounted to 72,757 tons.

From January through September 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to 270.5 million tons.

In the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 21.7 million tons.

From January through September 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 10.05 million tons, and under the flags of other countries - 238.79 million tons.

During this period, 54.49 million tons of cargo were transited through the ports of Turkey.

In September 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to 31.17 million tons.

In September 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.76 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 1.01 million tons, and under the flags of other countries - 27.40 million tons.

According to the ministry, in September 2020, 6.23 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through the ports of Turkey.
