The value of Turkey’s export of clothes to Uzbekistan rose by 33 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, totaling over $5.34 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In April 2021, Turkey’s export of clothes to Uzbekistan soared 5.2 times compared to the same month of 2020, exceeding $1.04 million, the ministry said.
Overall, the country’s export value of clothes increased by 32.3 percent from January through April 2021 year-on-year, exceeding $6.3 billion.
Turkey exported clothes worth $1.6 billion in April 2021, which is 184.7 percent more than in April 2020.
The Turkish export of these products amounted to $18.7 billion over the past 12 months (from April 2020 through April 2021).
