Number of companies with Georgian capital registered in Turkey has decreased from January through April 2021, the country’s Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend on June 2.
According to TOBB, during the reporting period, 11 Georgian companies have been registered in Turkey, which is by 5 companies less than in the same period of 2020.
The total capital of the companies amounted to 2.21 million liras ($260,000), as compared to 311,000 liras ($36,050) in 4M2020.
Meanwhile, most of the Georgian companies were registered in Istanbul (9 companies).
Four of the companies were engaged in wholesale and retail trade, and 2 in transport logistics.
"The remaining companies with Georgian capital operate in other sectors of economy," TOBB said.
