The value of steel export from Turkey to Kazakhstan has increased in the first half of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to slightly over $17.4 million, up 21.4 percent on annual basis.
In June 2021, the export of steel from Turkey to Kazakhstan shrank by 5.5 percent year on year, down to nearly $4.5 million.
Turkey has increased export of steel by 54.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $9.2 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth $2.02 billion in June 2021, which is by 81 percent more than in June 2020.
The export of steel almost reached $15.9 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
