The export of ready-made clothing from Turkey to Kazakhstan soared by 91.9 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period last year, exceeding $220 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, in August 2021, the export of ready-made clothing from Turkey to Kazakhstan surged by 93.6 percent compared to August 2020 and amounted to $35.7 million.
Turkey in total increased exports of ready-made clothing by 24.7 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period last year - up to $12.8 billion.
Turkey exported ready-made clothing worth $1.7 billion in August 2021, which is 13.3 percent more than in August 2020.
Over the last 12 months (August 2020 - August 2021), Turkish exports of ready-made clothing amounted to $19.6 billion.
