Some 1.9 million cars were transported through the Turkish ports from January through November 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Dec. 20.
According to the ministry, 709,954 cars were transported via Ro-Ro vessels to the Turkish ports during the reporting period.
"Some 1.2 million cars were transported from the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships from January through November 2021," the ministry said.
The ministry stressed that 168,546 cars were transported through the Turkish ports in November 2021.
"Some 68,418 cars were transported via Ro-Ro ships to the Turkish ports," the ministry said. "Some 100,128 cars were transported from the ports."
