BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. Some 17,466 cars were delivered from the Turkish port of Yalova to the French Sete port and 16,775 in the opposite direction in 1Q2022, the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry told Trend.
Therefore, the transshipment of cars between the two ports in the specified period amounted to 34,241.
The ports of Turkey handled 197,038 cars in March 2022.
According to the ministry, Ro-Ro ships delivered 76,020 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period, at the same time, 121,018 cars were sent from the ports of Turkey.
Turkish ports handled 552,712 cars from January through March 2022.
