BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 21. Türkiye reduced its steel exports to Kazakhstan by 0.9 percent in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, bringing it to $2.3 million, Trend reports, referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
The ministry added that Türkiye exported steel products worth $14.9 billion in the last 12 months (January 2023-January 2024).
In January 2024, Türkiye's exports of steel products to global markets increased by 2.1 percent to $1.12 billion compared to the same month in 2023.
From January through December 2023, exports of Turkish steel products decreased by 29.2 percent compared to the same period in 2022, totaling $14.9 billion.
