Oberammergau (Germany) will host introductory courses for staff officers of NATO January 5-9, said the press service of the Azerbaijani defense ministry Jan.3.
It is reported that the representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces will take part in the courses.
Azerbaijan frequently participates in various NATO events. The has previously country observed the 'Nusret-2014' naval drills held jointly by the NATO member countries in the Aegean Sea.
Azerbaijani armed forces also hosted the NATO Days in November 2014, organized by the expert group of the Staff of the NATO Supreme Command on transformation, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.
