For invaluable contribution to the world charity and service to the people of the country the UNESCO Good Will Ambassador, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva, has been awarded the highest order of the �Philanthropists of the Century’ international foundation the Ruby Cross, the chairman of the Presidium of the international Board of Russian fellow countrymen, the offspring of the first Kiev princes, the marshals Sheremetyev, Kutuzov and Suvorov, the Earl Petr Sheremetyev stated, Trend reports.
“Full life is needed to become a real man and Aliyeva’s activities are an example of high human value. He voiced that her efforts will create good basis for promoting the relationships between Russia and Azerbaijan.
вЂ�Ruby Rose’ for Azerbaijani President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a sign of honor,” Nagelina Vovk, a member of вЂ�Philanthropists of Century’ Foundation, the Honorary Artist of Russia. Aliyeva is the first lady awarded the prize for the contribution in the resolution of social problems of vulnerable layers of population вЂ" children from low-income families, orphans, refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan.
“President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation puts tremendous efforts for revival of culture and arts of Azerbaijan, large-scale projects directed at the improvement of the living conditions of different stratums of population are implemented jointly with the Russian community of Azerbaijan,” she underlined.
Vovk invited Aliyeva to participate in the solemn stone-laying ceremony of stella in Moscow on 15 October with the names of cavaliers of �Philanthropists of Century’ Foundation’ orders, where the names of prominent philanthropists, including Mehriban Aliyeva, will be engraved.
Aliyeva thanked �Philanthropists of Century’ for honor, noting that during its activities Heydar Aliyev’s Foundation acquired an authority in the country, and mainly for charity activities.
“Today I speak with proud about the successes and achievements of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which has carried out large-scale work in the sphere of resolution of social problems of different layers of population, implemented invaluable work in the sphere of survival of arts and culture of Azerbaijan,” she stated.
