President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev commissioned the Central Election Commission (CEC) with discussing of the use of the inking practice at the elections and taking relevant measures in this respect, the head of the socio-political department of the Azerbaijan President’s office Ali Hasanov said in his interview with the Space TV channel, commenting on the meeting chaired by the head of the state on 25 October 2005 on the forthcoming parliamentary elections, Trend reports.
According to Ali Hasanov, the President put the question to the central and local authorities on the necessity to study all complaints and applications entered during this period and in case of revealing any violations вЂ" to appeal to the prosecutor’s office which, in its turn, is to take serious measures. Besides, all proposals arrived in CEC are to be scrutinized in the framework of the law and all moments which facilitate the election practice are to be taken into account and applied, Hasanov added.
The Azerbaijan’s president stated at the meeting, there are serious errors in distribution of the elector’s certificates and commissioned with removing them in the shortest possible time.
