A volunteer work day was held in connection with the preparation for the first European Games to be held in Baku in 2015 and to support the "Temiz Binaqadi" project being implemented in the Binagadi district of the capital, Binagadi Executive Power of Baku told Trend.
The volunteer work was held on the eve of putting Binagadi district school No. 115 into operation after its repair.
The school was repaired on the basis of the "State program on socio-economic development of Baku and its settlements in 2011-2013", the executive branch said.
Moreover, the executive power of the district reported that purposeful measures on accelerating the socio-economic development of Baku and its settlements are being carried out on the basis of the relevant presidential decree.
"Temiz Binaqadi" social project was launched in July 2014 in connection with the preparation for the first European Games to be held in Baku in 2015. It focuses on accelerated landscaping of settlements and micro-regions, streets and yards, keeping buildings, streets clean. The partner of the project is "Coca Cola".
