Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations will send a task force and equipment to Israel to put out wildfires, the ministry told Trend Nov. 25.
Israel has earlier requested help from Azerbaijan. In accordance with the order of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Ministry of Emergency Situations will send an amphibious aircraft and fire-fighting equipment to Israel.
Strong forest fires started this week in several areas of Israel at the same time.
The fire is raging near Nataf settlement close to Jerusalem. There are also fires near Haifa, Hadera and Zikhron Ya'akov.
The country’s authorities have evacuated the population and declared a state of emergency in several Israeli districts.
