Mobile operator Nar Mobile has contributed to the international event titled 'Azerbaijan-2020: A Look into the Future', according to a message from the mobile operator.
Azerbaijan Investment Summit organized by 'The Economist', one of the world's leading economic journals, started on March 11.
Entitled the 'Azerbaijan-2020: A Look Into the Future', this international event will discuss such main topics as prospects of Azerbaijani economy's rapid development, reducing its dependence on energy resources, development of non-oil sector and other important economic issues.
Opening up wider investment opportunities and forming stable investment platform in the Caspian region, the Azerbaijan Investment Summit takes place with sponsorship of Nar Mobile, the operator known by its constant support for innovation and progress.
It should be noted that this two days long prestigious economic forum, held in the city of Baku, is being attended by many local and foreign guests.
The following guests are among the speakers of the forum: members of Azerbaijani government - Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev, Deputy Foreign Minister and Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Rector Hafiz Pashayev, as well as, Industry Editor at the Economist Simon Wright, BP regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell, World Bank regional director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali and others.
Speaking at the event the chairman of the Azerfon board, Yorgos Ioannidis expressed his views on prospects of Azerbaijani economy's development.
