Palestine’s embassy will be opened in Ashgabat during the visit of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Turkmenistan on Nov. 13-15, the Turkmen government said in a message Nov. 14.
Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during his meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, said that the “Turkmen side will create all necessary conditions for the proper functioning of the diplomatic mission of the brotherly country,” according to the message.
The two countries will celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations in April 2017. The Turkmen president proposed to hold the Turkmen-Palestinian business forum in 2017, according to the message.
