Azerbaijan will commission new Olympic facilities in 2010, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov told journalists.
"We plan to open Olympic facilities in Agdash and Goychay in February and March of 2010," he added.
According to him, the ministry will put into operation a rowing sports complex in Mingachevir in June-July. The ministry will commission the Olympic facilities in Balaken and Tovuz in November-December.
Rahimov expressed hope that this year the foundation of a pool in Baku will be laid. Based on a plan for development of Baku villages, the ministry also it will built sport facilities there, Rahimov said.
