ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 15. Afghan businessmen bought a large batch of diesel fuel through the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.

According to the exchange, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel from Turkmenistan for a total of more than $7.4 million.

At the same time, representatives of the UAE business community purchased carbon black, and an Afghan businessman purchased carbamide of the 'B' brand produced by enterprises of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern for a total amount of over $1.2 million.

A representative of the Kyrgyz business community purchased textile products worth a total of $434,500.

Meanwhile, recently, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan, Batyr Amanov, said that from January through April of this year, the Turkmen Turkmennebit State Concern fulfilled the plan for the production of diesel fuel by 100.6 percent.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
