BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Generative artificial intelligence (AI) can help develop telecom businesses, Head of Android Partnerships, CIS, Google, Polina Chernikova said during panel discussions at the international GSMA M360 Eurasia 2024 conference in Baku, Trend reports.
"It's no secret that the telecommunications business has been struggling in recent years. However, we hope that generative artificial intelligence can assist businesses in three main areas.
The first is protecting the core business. Can we use artificial intelligence and machine learning to understand how to improve customer service and offer them more services? Definitely yes. The second area is combating fraud. Can we use AI to protect against it? Yes, of course. Finally, the third, equally important, is innovation. Can telecom offer something entirely new to customers?
"These are the three main directions where the use of generative AI will be particularly beneficial," she emphasized.
To note, the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2024 international conference is taking place in Baku, spanning from May 15 through May 16. This event gathers leading experts, regulators, heads of mobile operators, IT corporations, high-ranking politicians, and other participants. Baku is hosting the M360 Eurasia conference for the second time.
