Azerbaijan discloses output from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli since commissioning

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 14. About 220.7 billion cubic meters of gas was produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block offshore Azerbaijan since the commissioning till May 1, Trend reports via the country’s energy ministry.

During this period, the block produced 590.2 million tons of crude oil.

This is while Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 5.5 million tons of oil produced in the country in the first four months of 2024.

Gas production from the block from January through April 2024 stood at 4.4 billion cubic meters, remaining unchanged from the same period in 2023.

BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.

ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37%), SOCAR (25.0%), MOL (9.57%), INPEX (9.31%), Equinor (7.27%), ExxonMobil (6.79%), TPAO (5.73%), ITOCHU (3.65%), ONGCVidesh (2.31%).
