BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Türkiye reduced its chemical exports to Kazakhstan by 3.4 percent from January through April 2024 compared to the same period last year, bringing them to $75.5 million, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
“In April 2024, Turkish chemical exports to Kazakhstan increased by 12.1 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $18.9 million,” the statement notes.
Besides, Türkiye increased its chemical exports by 7.3 percent year-on-year to $10.5 billion from January through April 2024.
“In April 2024, Türkiye's exports of chemical products to global markets increased by 5 percent compared to the same month in 2023 to $2.5 billion,” the statement says.
To note, Türkiye exported $31.2 billion worth of chemical products in the last 12 months (from April 2023 through April 2024).
